White Card

 

Program Overview

 

From July 1 2008, the “Green Card” training program will be replaced by the National Construction Industry Induction Program (White Card) program. The White Card program is designed to provide knowledge of the Occupational Health and Safety principles and practices used on Australian Building and Construction and Civil sites.

 

Program Outcomes

 

Upon completion of this program, participants will have the relevant skills required to gain entry and work safely on a construction site in Australia.

 

Program Content

 

This program will involve training in:

 

· Protective clothing and equipment and safe use of plant and equipment (responsibilities)

· Licences and tickets

· Safety signs

· Site emergency and evacuation

· Duty of care

· Hazard identification

· Clean, Safe and Tidy Worksites

 

Program Details

 

Duration: 6 hours

 

Delivery: 5 Wiley Street, Elizabeth South SA 5112

 

Cost:  $99 per person GST Inclusive

*price based on training delivered in Adelaide metro area. Price subject to change without notification
